Accommodation
The Retreat house is nestled amongst 44 acres of land, containing a rock balancing garden, Woodland trails, nature walks, fire pit, 4000sqm swimming hole with floating pontoon and Buddha Garden. The main house is made up of 6 bedrooms, each containing 2 single beds, as well as 4 bathrooms, verandas with breathtaking views and a big yoga room for our physical practices.
About Your Facilitators
Rani Shah - Yoga Teacher, Movement Facilitator
Rani Shah is inspired by a deep connection to movement and self-discovery.
Faced with a history of physical limitations and immune disorders, she has devoted herself to crafting a movement practice and lifestyle to heal, strengthen and accumulate life-force energy. Her mission is to empower others to harness their own energetic potential and ignite a steady state of aliveness through the tool of movement.
Rani holds over 12 years of teaching experience and a collective 900 RYT hours in Vinyasa, Hatha and Wild Lotus Yoga. Additional Specialised training includes Zenthai Shiatsu Acupressure Massage, Embodied Movement, Calisthenics, functional training, Animal Flow, Salsa, Bachata and Belly Dance. She shares her experience internationally, guiding students across South East Asia and Australia.
Mercia Cloete - Scientist, Surfer, Yoga Teacher, Connection facilitator
Mercia has been practicing Yoga since her early teens as a National Swimmer. She has a BSc in Zoology, Human Physiology and Nutrition, and over 500 hours of Teacher Training in the Ashtanga-Vinyasa System and Yin Yoga.
Mercia has been facilitating Cacao Ceremonies, Women’s Circles and community mindfulness events for years, encouraging understanding of self and connection to the local community as a fundamental pillar to holistic health.
She is passionate about the unique ability our yoga practice has to build strength and flexibility in the body and mind, creating deeper connection, understanding, compassion and trust in Self, whilst nurturing our spiritual connection. She is a passionate advocate for Women’s health and the power that is available when we tap into our innate rhythms and cycles.
When not in studio find her galivanting outdoors with her dogs, enjoying a surf, creating connection events for the local community, or playing games with friends and family.
Jordan Myles - Remedial Massage Therapist
Jordan is a skilled and compassionate remedial massage therapist dedicated to the holistic healing of both the body and mind. With a deep understanding of the human anatomy and extensive training in various massage techniques, Jordan provides personalised treatments tailored to individual needs. Where appropriate, Jordan incorporates dry needling, cupping, and hot stones.
Committed to ongoing professional development, Jordan stays up-to-date with the latest advancements in remedial massage therapy and mental health practices. Jordan's passion for healing, combined with a comprehensive approach to wellness, enables clients to experience not only physical relief but also mental and emotional transformation.
Danielle Gonzal - Retreat Caterer, Abundant Health Ayurveda
A passionate advocate for holistic wellness and mindful living, Danielle brings a unique blend of culinary expertise and wellness facilitation. With a deep-rooted appreciation for Ayurvedic principles, she crafts nourishing meals that not only delight the senses but also promote balance and vitality.
With a background in Ayurveda and a commitment to catering to individual dietary needs, she offers vibrant meals bursting with seasonal ingredients, infused with aromatic spices, each dish is thoughtfully prepared to support overall well-being.
In addition to exquisite culinary offerings, she provides invaluable insights into the ancient wisdom of Ayurveda through engaging information sessions. Participants have the opportunity to deepen their understanding of Ayurvedic principles, learning how to align their lifestyle choices with their unique constitution for optimal health and vitality.
